Vice President of Sales – Full-Service 3PL | Texas Based | Uncapped Earnings
CornerStone Professional Placement has partnered with a growing domestic and international third-party logistics (3PL) provider in their search for a Vice President of Sales. This is a key leadership role responsible for leading and mentoring a dynamic sales team of six, while also actively contributing to strategic growth initiatives across Texas and nationally.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced sales leader who thrives in the freight brokerage and 3PL space, understands the Texas market, and brings strong energy, field presence, and a coaching mindset.
What You’ll Do:
Provide leadership, mentorship, and field training to a team of six sales professionals
Drive new business development and support team members on closing strategies and carrier relationships
Collaborate closely with executive leadership to achieve aggressive growth targets (targeting 50% annual growth)
Represent a full-service 3PL offering refrigerated, flatbed, dry van, LTL, air, and ocean freight solutions
Participate in trade shows, support field efforts across DFW, Houston, and San Antonio
Engage in direct sales activities, working alongside your team to win accounts and build relationships
Leverage the company's user-friendly, home-grown CRM to track activity and accelerate sales performance
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in 3PL sales and freight brokerage
A leadership background with experience coaching and mentoring salespeople
Strong knowledge of the Texas market and a presence in DFW, Houston, or San Antonio
A book of business or deep industry contacts is a strong plus, but not required
Highly motivated, competitive personality with a strong presence and professional reputation
Willing to travel as needed within the state and occasionally out of state
Active in the field and on social platforms; someone who attends industry events and stays current with market trends
