Job Title: Tour Accountant
Location: Nashville, TN Area

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Tour Accountant for a direct hire opportunity in the Nashville, TN area. Our client is a renowned business management firm serving high-net-worth clients in the sports and entertainment industry. This organization provides comprehensive financial and advisory services including accounting, tax, tour management, and wealth preservation strategies. Position Summary:
The ideal candidate is a highly organized and driven accounting professional with experience in the fast-paced entertainment or touring industry. This role requires the ability to manage multiple deadlines, provide financial insights, and support a dynamic client base through exceptional service and analytical capability.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements including journal entries, reconciliations, budgeting, and cash management

• Present financial and cash flow analysis, P&L reports, and long-term planning solutions

• Monitor insurance renewals, claims, and workers comp audits

• Deliver weekly client communications such as cash reports and financial updates

• Review and summarize client agreements and contracts

• Prepare budgets, payroll, 1099 reporting, and manage onboarding for new clients

• Collaborate with management on estate planning, asset acquisitions, and investments

• Monitor credit card activity, fraud alerts, and credit health

• Review work completed by Staff Accountants and ensure accuracy in financial operations

• Oversee accurate commissions tracking, calculations, and payments

• Maintain accountability logs for filings and reporting

• Foster relationships with clients' trusted advisors and ensure high levels of service

• Support payroll processing and associated journal entries

• Qualify annual financials for tax purposes

• Contribute to ad hoc projects and process improvements as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced firm

• Strong preference for candidates with background in music, entertainment, touring, or live events

• Experience using QuickBooks and Excel

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and reporting capabilities

• BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Music Business; CPA or CPA-track candidates a plus

• Must be able to reliably commute to the Nashville office
