Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid)
Hours: Monday–Friday, standard business hours (Busy season ~50 hours)
Pay: $75,000–$95,000 DOE

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Tax Staff or Tax Senior for a well-established public accounting firm in Irving, TX. This role supports a large, complex engagement and focuses on tax preparation, entity-level work, and handling tax notices within a high-volume environment.
This position offers stability and consistency, working within a structured engagement with multi-entity operations. The ideal candidate enjoys detail-oriented work, staying organized, and working in an environment with repeatable, process-driven workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare tax returns across multiple entities
- Handle tax notices and related correspondence
- Track and maintain entity-level information
- Support tax managers with ongoing work
- Ensure accuracy and organization across high-volume work

Qualifications
- Public accounting experience required
- Experience preparing tax returns
- Exposure to:
- 1040
- 1065
- 1120 / 1120S
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail-oriented mindset
Preferred
- Exposure to multi-entity environments or SALT
- Experience in mid-size or small firm
- Experience handling higher-volume tax work
