We’re looking for a hands-on, production-focused Structural Engineer who enjoys practical design work, foundation analysis, and working in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.
This person will support commercial modular building projects, collaborate closely with engineering and construction teams, and play a key role in structural design execution across multiple active projects.
What You’ll Do
• Design structural foundation systems for commercial building projects
• Prepare structural calculations, studies, and construction documentation
• Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
• Analyze structural loads, support systems, and foundation requirements
• Support structural design and production work for modular building systems
• Utilize Revit and 3D design software daily
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and construction teams
• Support multiple active projects in a fast-paced environment
• Participate in occasional site visits, office meetings, and project reviews
What We’re Looking For
• BS in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• PE license OR ability to obtain PE within 1 year
• 4+ years of structural engineering experience
• Commercial construction experience
• Strong production/design engineering background
• Experience with structural calculations and foundation systems
• Strong Revit or 3D CAD proficiency
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Practical, hands-on engineering mindset
This Role Is NOT a Fit If You
• Prefer highly theoretical or research-focused engineering work
• Want a purely management-level engineering role
• Do not enjoy hands-on production/design work
• Lack commercial construction experience
• Have primarily residential-only experience
• Are uncomfortable working in fast-paced production environments
• Prefer strategy-only roles over technical execution
Nice to Have
• Modular or off-site construction experience
• Experience with wood and steel framing systems
• Knowledge of ICC, AISC, and ACI standards
• Experience supporting commercial construction projects
• Foundation/load analysis experience
Why This Role
This is an opportunity to join a stable and growing organization supporting large-scale commercial projects across multiple markets.
The company is looking for someone who enjoys practical engineering work, takes ownership naturally, and can contribute immediately in a collaborative, production-focused environment.
This role offers long-term stability, exposure to diverse projects, remote flexibility after onboarding, and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced engineering and construction team.
