What You’ll Actually Do as the Senior Estimator:

• Lead estimating efforts for complex commercial projects, including healthcare and higher education facilities.
• Prepare conceptual budgets and detailed cost estimates throughout all phases of design.
• Partner with project teams to develop GMP strategies, procurement approaches, and risk assessments.
• Track budgets, manage scope adjustments, and ensure consistency across estimates.
• Contribute to general conditions analysis and provide input into overall project requirements.

What You’ll Need to Succeed as the Senior Estimator:

• 7–10 years of estimating experience, ideally within commercial, healthcare, and higher education sectors (structural steel experience, not residential or multi-family)
• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Experience with CMAR delivery methods.
• Experience estimating complex projects ranging in scope from $10M+ ($20M-100M is preferred)
• Proven ability to manage estimates from conceptual design through GMP submission.

It’s a Bonus if You’ve Used:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience estimating in the healthcare, higher education, or municipality markets
• Previous mentoring or training of junior estimators.
• Design build experience.
