Overview
CornerStone Professional Placement is partnered with a growing organization to identify a Sr. Compensation Analyst to support market pricing, job evaluation, pay governance, and annual compensation cycles. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll to ensure compensation decisions are competitive, equitable, compliant, and aligned with company policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct job evaluations and market pricing using external salary surveys and internal pay data
  • Prepare and recommend salary ranges, pay actions, and leveling decisions
  • Review and advise on offers, promotions, and compensation adjustments
  • Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll to ensure pay alignment and accuracy
  • Support annual merit and incentive cycles, including data validation and reporting
  • Test and maintain compensation configurations and reports within Workday
  • Maintain job descriptions and ensure alignment with job architecture and governance standards
  • Analyze compensation trends including pay positioning, compa-ratios, and market competitiveness
  • Support pay transparency compliance, audits, and data integrity initiatives
  • Identify risks and recommend process improvements to enhance controls and efficiency

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Compensation or Total Rewards (corporate environment)
  • Strong knowledge of market pricing, job evaluation, pay structures, and governance
  • Experience supporting merit and incentive compensation cycles
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with Workday or similar HRIS
  • Ability to communicate compensation concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience partnering with HRBPs and Talent Acquisition
  • Familiarity with STI/LTI programs is a plus
  • Experience in a regulated or complex environment preferred
  • CCP certification or progress toward certification is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
  • Employment Type: 8 months, potential to hire
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday 40 hrs. a week
  • Pay Rate: Based on Experience (Open for candidates pay)
  • Location: On-site (Boston, MA 02210)
  • Benefits: Will be offered through CornerStone
