What You’ll Actually Do as the Senior Community Engagement Manager:
- Lead direct communication with Jellycat fans across email, social touchpoints, and community channels, ensuring thoughtful, heartfelt, high-attention engagement.
- Manage and mentor a Fan Engagement Coordinator while setting the tone, standards, and voice for all fan interactions.
- Oversee “surprise and delight” gifting programs, curating moments that strengthen loyalty and emotional connection.
- Plan and support fan-facing events, from intimate activations to high-energy experiences that bring community members together.
- Partner closely with global fanbase and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive worldwide community experience.
What You’ll Need to Succeed as the Senior Community Engagement Manager:
- 5–8 years in community management, fan engagement, brand experience, or a similar role supporting highly engaged fanbases.
- A proven ability to nurture passionate communities requiring high levels of attention, responsiveness, and emotional intelligence.
- Experience leading or mentoring team members.
- Warm, playful communication style aligned with Jellycat’s joyful brand personality.
- Strong organization and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
It’s a bonus if you’ve used:
- Experience working with music, entertainment, gaming, or celebrity-level fandoms.
- Experience supporting gifting programs, fan activations, or influencer-adjacent community initiatives.
- Experience working with global or international teams.
Why This Role Fits Your Life:
· Employment Type: Direct Hire
· Schedule: 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday + occasional travel
· Salary: $100,000–$115,000 based on experience + eligible for up to 15% annual bonus
· Location: NYC or LA (hybrid)
