CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Senior Accountant for a global pharmaceutical company based in Fort Worth, Texas. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting, supporting system integration and optimization efforts, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and U.S. GAAP. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multinational environment and enjoys supporting financial reporting, ERP initiatives, and process improvement. Working closely with Finance, Operations, Commercial, and IT teams, this individual will help drive financial data integrity, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Pay Rate: $40–$50/hour
Employment Type: 12-Month Temp Assignment


Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
•    Lead financial master data cleansing, validation, and Oracle ERP integration activities, including General Ledger accounts, cost centers, customer data, reporting structures, UAT, and post-go-live support. 
•    Manage inventory and cost accounting activities while supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accurate journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. 
•    Ensure compliance with IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and corporate accounting policies by researching accounting guidance and maintaining accurate financial records. 
•    Analyze financial results, investigate variances, identify root causes of discrepancies, and recommend process improvements to strengthen reporting accuracy and operational efficiency. 
•    Partner with Finance, Operations, Commercial, and IT teams to support ERP enhancements, finance transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts while maintaining financial data integrity.


Requirements for the Senior Accountant:
•    Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA, Masters degree, Big Four, or public accounting experience is highly preferred. 
•    5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within pharmaceutical, consumer products, manufacturing, or other complex multinational public company environments. 
•    Strong knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP, with experience preparing financial reporting, researching accounting guidance, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. 
•    Experience with Oracle, NetSuite, or other ERP systems, including ERP implementations, system conversions, acquisition integrations, or financial master data governance; advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. 
•    Highly analytical and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, plus a proven ability to drive process improvements and work effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
