Senior Accountant

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant based in Fort Worth, Texas to support key accounting and financial reporting activities within a dynamic, fast-paced global environment. Job Title: Senior Accountant 
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Hybrid (3 Days Onsite/2 Days Remote)
Type: Temp Assignment
Pay Rate: $45–$50/hour

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
•    Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes 
•    Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports 
•    Ensure accuracy and compliance of balance sheet accounts 
•    Analyze financial data and investigate variances 
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams and shared services 
•    Assist with finance projects, ERP improvements, and accounting updates affecting U.S. operations
•    Analyze system data to identify discrepancies, determine root causes, and ensure proper accounting treatment under IFRS

Requirements for the Senior Accountant:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 
•    Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred
•    5+ years of experience in accounting within pharmaceutical, consumer goods, or multinational environments
•    Strong background of IFRS and U.S. GAAP 
•    Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and advanced Excel skills 
•    Ability to work in a hybrid setup based in Fort Worth, Texas
