Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Location: 100% Onsite in Los Angeles, CA

Duration: Full-time! Be a permanent employee from day one.

Pay Range: $90K - $95K with flexibility based on experience

Schedule: Flex scheduling! They work with your lifestyle needs. Employees arrive between 7AM and 10AM, work 8 hours, and go home for a 40 hour work week!

Job Duties:

  • Process incoming payrolls (20+ payrolls weekly)
  • Assist and service clients in regards to payroll production, tax-related issues, and compliance
  • Maintaining client relationships as it relates to the weekly processing of the client payrolls. Respond to questions, resolve payroll issues, and ensure understanding
  • Obtain and review employee timecards for multiple clients at a time
  • Calculate multi-state overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc. with the assistance of an HRIS
  • Review timecards and payroll previews to look for discrepancies and inconsistencies
  • Ensure all deadlines are met while managing the payroll process for clients
  • Assist in payroll data entry during HRIS implementation
  • Run quarterly and year-end payroll reports as requested for each client
  • Additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of high volume payroll processing experience, primarily focusing on individuals who have handled multiple pay cycles at once (i.e. a few employees can be on weekly pay, a few could be on bimonthly, a few might be contractors, etc.) vs extremely high volume
  • Must have a relevant 4 year degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience utilizing ADP with a preference for Workforce Now
  • Ability to reliably commute and report to the LA office.
  • QuickBooks is a plus but not a requirement
