ROLE IMPACT
The IT Procurement Specialist supports strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives across technology categories including software, hardware, telecom, and contingent labor services. This role plays a critical part in ensuring supplier partnerships, contract management, and sourcing strategies align with business objectives, operational efficiency goals, and long-term technology initiatives. Success in this position is measured through effective supplier engagement, cost optimization, contract execution, and the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Support and manage sourcing activities for IT software, hardware, telecom, and labor-related procurement initiatives.
• Lead supplier engagement activities including RFI and RFP development, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Collaborate with category managers and business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and drive project completion.
• Prepare and deliver sourcing presentations, cost analyses, supplier recommendations, and strategic alternatives for stakeholder review and approval.
• Maintain accurate sourcing, supplier, and contract data within procurement systems and provide regular reporting on project status and outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications
• Experience managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations, RFI/RFP processes, and procurement initiatives.
• Ability to lead multiple sourcing projects simultaneously while meeting competing deadlines and business priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Supplier performance and spend analysis tools
• Data tracking and procurement reporting systems

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience with Ariba preferred.
• Experience with Archer preferred.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies, supplier rationalization, and total cost of ownership analysis.
