HR Support Specialist

Alpharetta, GA | Hybrid (3+ times/month on-site)

Compensation: Up to $30/hr.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Role Impact

As a first-level HR Support Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees, managers, former staff, and external agencies. This role ensures timely and empathetic resolution, delivering a positive employee experience while supporting HR services and processes. You will balance responsiveness with accuracy and escalate more complex issues appropriately.


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to HR-related inquiries via phone and electronic channels with professionalism and empathy
  • Provide guidance and navigation support for HR systems, programs, and policies
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in HR systems
  • Analyze and resolve issues independently, escalating as needed
  • Direct unresolved inquiries to the appropriate HR partners or departments

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in HR support, employee service, or a contact center environment
  • Familiarity with HR programs, practices, and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Proven ability to resolve issues, manage multiple cases, and handle high-volume inquiries

Core Tools & Systems

  • HR Case Management Systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Workday)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Intranet-based HR Portals
  • Telephony and ticketing platforms
  • Knowledgebase and SOP navigation tools

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes
  • Background in healthcare or large-scale enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee information
