HR Support Specialist
Alpharetta, GA | Hybrid (3+ times/month on-site)
Compensation: Up to $30/hr.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Role Impact
As a first-level HR Support Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees, managers, former staff, and external agencies. This role ensures timely and empathetic resolution, delivering a positive employee experience while supporting HR services and processes. You will balance responsiveness with accuracy and escalate more complex issues appropriately.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to HR-related inquiries via phone and electronic channels with professionalism and empathy
- Provide guidance and navigation support for HR systems, programs, and policies
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in HR systems
- Analyze and resolve issues independently, escalating as needed
- Direct unresolved inquiries to the appropriate HR partners or departments
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in HR support, employee service, or a contact center environment
- Familiarity with HR programs, practices, and procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Proven ability to resolve issues, manage multiple cases, and handle high-volume inquiries
Core Tools & Systems
- HR Case Management Systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Workday)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Intranet-based HR Portals
- Telephony and ticketing platforms
- Knowledgebase and SOP navigation tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes
- Background in healthcare or large-scale enterprise environments
- Demonstrated confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee information
