Housekeeping Supervisor
Job Description
CornerStone Professional Placement is searching for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join a reputable client based in Arlington, TX. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all housekeeping activities within the manufacturing facility to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in industrial cleaning, and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards in compliance with safety regulations.
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Location: Arlington, TX (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $53,000 - $55,000 per year
Schedule: Monday - Friday
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning activities.
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and policies to meet safety and operational standards.
- Ensure cleanliness of production areas, restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and other facility spaces.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff.
- Ensure compliance with CCA audits and relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Participate in safety audits and emergency preparedness efforts.
- Maintain and oversee cleaning equipment functionality and inventory.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions for maintaining cleanliness in a manufacturing environment.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inspections, inventory, and staff performance.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to align housekeeping efforts with operational needs.
Job Requirements:
- At least High school diploma or equivalent required.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of housekeeping experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and other health and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or facility management software.
Work Environment:
- Primarily in a manufacturing setting, requiring adherence to PPE and safety standards.
- Exposure to industrial cleaning chemicals, machinery, and varying temperature conditions.
- Requires physical activity, including walking, standing, and occasional lifting of cleaning equipment or supplies.
