About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Systems Integration Associate with a Big 4 public accounting background to support post-acquisition integration in a multi-entity environment. This role offers the opportunity to transition from advisory into a hands-on, in-house function — working closely with finance and operations teams to ensure smooth rollout of new financial systems and alignment of processes across entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support integration of financial systems across multiple entities following acquisitions.
- Assist with the rollout and implementation of new financial platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Partner with internal finance and operations teams to align processes during post-acquisition transitions.
- Perform reconciliations across accounts, payroll, and ACH transactions to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
- Support payroll processing and ACH transactions, including setup, execution, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with IT, finance, and external advisors to troubleshoot system or process issues.
- Document processes, workflows, and integration steps to support ongoing system improvements.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting related to integration activities and financial operations.
- Contribute to the development of scalable processes that enhance efficiency in a multi-entity environment.
Qualifications
- Big 4 experience required (PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in audit, advisory, transaction services, or financial systems integration.
- Exposure to post-acquisition integration, multi-entity reporting, or financial system rollouts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in reconciliations.
- Familiarity with payroll processes, ACH transactions, and financial operations (training provided).
- Proficiency with Excel and strong aptitude for learning new financial systems quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across finance, operations, and IT teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
