Responsibilities
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and financial reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
Oversee gross-to-net (G2N) accounting and revenue recognition, including accruals, estimates, reconciliations, supporting analyses, and related accounting matters.
Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, account activity, and financial reporting support while addressing significant or unusual variances.
Partner with finance and business stakeholders on accounting estimates, financial analysis, reporting needs, and technical accounting considerations.
Support accounting policy application, technical research, and documentation for complex or non-routine transactions.
Drive process improvements through automation, stronger accounting workflows, ERP enhancements, and more efficient reporting practices.
Provide leadership and technical guidance to accounting professionals while contributing to broader finance and cross-functional initiatives.
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including G2N, revenue accounting, or closely related revenue recognition experience.
Strong experience with gross-to-net accounting, revenue recognition, financial reporting, technical accounting, and month-end close.
Working knowledge of IFRS and experience applying accounting guidance to complex transactions.
Strong ERP experience, with Oracle preferred, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or another highly regulated industry background strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, improve accounting processes, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience working within a shared services or centralized accounting environment is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
Active CPA or Chartered Accountant (CA) credential required.
