Position Overview
The Customer Service Advisor serves as a critical link between manufacturing operations and customers. This role is responsible for ensuring every customer interaction, from initial inquiry through order fulfillment, is handled with accuracy, professionalism, and urgency.
This position supports customer satisfaction, account integrity, and on-time delivery by working closely with Sales, Production, Logistics, Quality, and Operations teams. Success in this role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to meet service expectations for speed, accuracy, and follow-through.

Position Overview
The Customer Service Advisor serves as a critical link between manufacturing operations and customers. This role is responsible for ensuring every customer interaction, from initial inquiry through order fulfillment, is handled with accuracy, professionalism, and urgency.
This position supports customer satisfaction, account integrity, and on-time delivery by working closely with Sales, Production, Logistics, Quality, and Operations teams. Success in this role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to meet service expectations for speed, accuracy, and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, responding promptly to inquiries by phone, email, and chat.
- Provide accurate information regarding window shades, product availability, pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines.
- Process and manage customer orders in the ERP system, ensuring accurate data entry and timely execution.
- Track open orders, generate order status reports, coordinate expedited requests with Operations, and proactively communicate updates to customers.
- Partner with Production, Shipping, Logistics, Quality, and Sales teams to resolve product, pricing, order, or specification issues.
- Prepare invoices, purchase orders, stock lists, and related documentation to support customers and sales representatives.
- Maintain and update customer records, service metrics, and training materials to support operational accuracy and compliance.
- Support onboarding and training for new and existing team members as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or production-based environment.
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, production, industrial operations, or order fulfillment processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and provide excellent customer service.
