Schedule: On-site, Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM; occasional evenings/weekends as needed)
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 + Monthly Bonus
CornerStone Professional Placement is partnered with a premier legal firm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area seeking a Commercial Catastrophic Personal Injury Attorney with 3 to 5+ years of experience. This attorney will take on a critical role representing clients in serious and high-stakes personal injury cases—ranging from commercial vehicle accidents to premises liability, medical malpractice, and deceptive trade practices.
The role offers support from a strong legal team, including case managers, paralegals, and legal assistants, to help manage an average caseload of 70 active cases. The attorney will be responsible for leading client cases through trial, negotiations, and settlement while ensuring an exceptional level of advocacy and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle a caseload of catastrophic personal injury cases from intake through trial or settlement
• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, and jury trials
• Prepare legal pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
• Supervise and collaborate with case managers, legal assistants, and paralegals
• Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of case notes and billing
• Stay current on relevant case law and legal trends impacting personal injury litigation
What You Bring:
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Texas
• 3–5+ years of experience in personal injury law, including catastrophic or commercial cases
• Trial experience and a strong understanding of courtroom procedures
• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and litigation strategy
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to work on-site, Monday–Friday, and manage occasional after-hours projects
