Salary: $90K–$110K BOE


About the Role

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Billing Operations Manager to oversee billing processes across multiple operating companies. This role is responsible for managing billing accuracy, coordinating with partners and leadership, supporting billing system standardization, and driving improvements in cash collections and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of billing cycle management, process improvement, and analytical skills to ensure accurate invoicing and streamlined operations.


Responsibilities

Billing Cycle Oversight and Partner Coordination

  • Lead billing review meetings with operating company partners, corporate leaders, and administrative staff
  • Manage billing processes across multiple operating companies, including reconciliation with tax or practice management systems
  • Compare invoices against prior year cycles to identify discrepancies, scope changes, and value billing opportunities
  • Draft invoice reviews, conduct accuracy checks, and finalize invoices for client delivery

Billing Platform Standardization and DSO Reduction

  • Support the implementation and change management of transitioning multiple billing systems to a single, scalable platform
  • Develop standardized billing review processes and templates for use across all operating companies
  • Design and manage billing workflows that minimize days sales outstanding (DSO) and improve cash collections efficiency
  • Create dashboards and real-time reporting to provide leadership visibility into billing performance, value billing opportunities, and collection trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or financial operations experience
  • Experience managing billing processes in a multi-entity organization
  • Strong Excel skills, including reconciliations, lookups, and pivot tables
  • Exposure to billing system implementation or process improvement projects
  • Demonstrated success in reducing DSO and improving collections
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across leadership and administrative teams
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
