Aviation Account Manager – St. Louis
Schedule: Full-time, flexible schedule required (includes nights, weekends, and holidays as needed)
Pay Range: $70K-80K annually
Location: St. Louis (Relocation Assistance Available)

CornerStone’s Professional Placement division has partnered with a local company in their search an Account Manager to lead a team of 44 employees in the ramp and passenger services assistance for a major client in the St. Louis area.
Responsibilities
• Oversee daily airport operations, including staffing, scheduling, budget management, and overtime control.
• Manage hiring, terminations, counseling, training, and employee relations.
• Ensure compliance with FAA/TSA requirements, state licensing regulations, and company policies.
• Provide leadership and support by performing subordinate duties when necessary.
• Direct the station’s Safety Management System (SMS) and develop safety plans.
• Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client operational standards.
• Conduct staff training/retraining in airport procedures, safety, and policies.
• Maintain strong client relations, acting as the liaison with airline management, FAA representatives, and airport officials.
• Handle employee concerns promptly and effectively to promote a positive work environment.
• Oversee payroll processing, client invoicing, and administrative functions.
• Perform quality assurance audits to ensure service standards are met.
• Project a professional and positive image when interacting with clients, staff, and the public.
• Uphold workplace safety standards, including proper PPE usage, safety training, and thorough accident investigations.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in aviation
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work hands-on alongside employees.
• Proven ability to manage financial reports and budgets.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry systems.
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and employee compliance with safety protocols.
• Strong experience in ramp management and Passenger Services
