Role: Assistant Controller
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Base Salary: $110,000-$125,000
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Onsite | 2 days WFH after onboarding | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We’re partnering with a growing organization seeking an Assistant Controller to help strengthen financial operations and support accounting leadership.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee key treasury and financial control processes
• Support internal and external audit readiness
• Partner with finance leadership on accounting initiatives
• Help improve financial visibility and operational processes across the business

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee treasury-related processes including cash oversight and banking coordination
• Support audit preparation and maintain strong financial controls
• Partner with accounting leadership on reporting and operational improvements
• Collaborate with internal teams to support accurate and efficient financial processes
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, and financial transparency

Must-Have Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or treasury-related roles
• Strong understanding of financial controls and audit processes
• Experience supporting accounting operations within mid-size or large organizations
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Nice to Have

• CPA certification
• Experience in organizations with multi-location or portfolio-based operations
• Exposure to treasury management or cash forecasting functions
