Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will report to the Accounting Manager and collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and accurate receivables operations. Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Work Type: Hybrid (3 days On-Site)
Pay Rate: $35–$40/hour
Employment Type: 12 Month-Temp Assignment


Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
•    Manage customer accounts, including relationship building, collections, and resolving billing disputes
•    Monitor overdue balances and follow up to ensure timely payments
•    Process and apply payments (checks, wires, credit cards) and reconcile daily deposits
•    Handle customer inquiries, chargebacks, credit memos, and refunds
•    Review aging reports, coordinate with collection agencies, and assist with special projects

Requirements for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
•    Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
•    1–3 years of Accounts Receivable or related experience
•    Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
•    Intermediate Excel skills
•    Strong communication and organizational skills
