CornerStone Professional Placement has partnered with a major name in automotive manufacturing to seek out a talented Treasury Financial Analyst for their campus in Plano, TX. If you have 5+ years of treasury operations experience and high attention to detail, this is the role for you!


Please note: this role will be hybrid remote after 1 month of training with 2 days onsite per week.


Job Title: Treasury Financial Analyst

Location: Plano, TX | Hybrid (Onsite for one month of training, then two days onsite per week)

Shift Timings: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Treasury Operations to oversee daily middle-office tasks, including confirmation, settlement, and research related to brokered certificates of deposit, domestic debts (agency securities, treasury bonds, municipal bonds), and derivatives (swaps and swap clearing).
  • Manage processes for Collateral Support Annex (CSA) margin calls and monthly asset-backed securities (ABS) servicing.
  • Conduct research to identify and resolve discrepancies between internal system cash flows and external party records.
  • Create and update operational procedures and manage group email correspondence.
  • Participate in projects and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with daily treasury operations, including confirmation and settlement.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and formulas (excluding macros).
  • Strong organizational skills and self-sufficiency, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Ambitious and collaborative personality with a cheerful and professional outlook.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with treasury products such as USTs, agency securities, and bonds, as well as derivatives.
  • Experience with Wall Street Suite or other treasury platforms.
  • Knowledge of brokered certificate of deposit processes.

Experience:

  • 5-6 years of relevant experience in treasury operations.

This role is ideal for someone who learns quickly, takes initiative, and can work with minimal supervision. The candidate will need to conduct regular research, take detailed notes, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
