Microsoft Systems Administrator
Irving, TX

The Microsoft Support Technician will be responsible for system configuration, support, implementation of new processes and ongoing support of the our client's Microsoft lab systems. Experience with Windows Server 2003/2008 administration is required for thie role. This position is a 12 month contract for an excellent company

Requirements of the Support Technician
  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or 5 Years relevant experience in a technical field
  • Certifications, Licenses, etc.: A+, and Network certifications a plus 
  • 3 - 5 years experience supporting Microsoft products
  • 3 years’ minimum experience with Windows Server 2003/2008 systems administration 
  • Knowledge with VBScript, Perl, and Command Line scripting 
  • Experience with PC Hardware Repair; Systems building, backup, recovery 
  • Network hardware installation and management (Ethernet Switches, Routers, and Wireless Access Points) preferred 
  • Two (2) years supporting the Retail Information System/Point of Sale System platform preferred
