Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Duration: Full-Time

Schedule: M-F, 40 Hours Per Week, Core Business Hours

Pay Range: $120K - $130K + Bonus w/Flexibility BOE

Job Duties:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with internal policies and industry standards, including journal entries, reconciliations, budgeting, cash flow management, and compliance audits.  
  • Conduct financial analysis, long-term cash flow projections, and P&L assessments.  
  • Track and manage insurance policies, claims, and renewals for both entities and individuals.  
  • Provide regular financial updates and cash reports to clients.  
  • Assist in reviewing and summarizing client agreements.  
  • Develop, review, and approve budgets, shareholder payroll, and required tax documentation.  
  • Support and oversee new client onboarding processes.  
  • Collaborate with leadership on estate planning, asset acquisitions, and investment tracking.  
  • Monitor cash flow, credit activity, fraud alerts, and financial risk indicators.  
  • Review and ensure accuracy of work performed by accounting staff, including accounts payable, receivables, payroll, and related transactions.  
  • Oversee the calculation and distribution of commissions.  
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc financial initiatives.  
  • Assist in payroll processing and ensure proper recording of associated transactions.  
  • Maintain detailed records of all financial filings and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.  
  • Engage with clients' key financial partners to address outstanding matters.  
  • Review and validate annual financial statements for tax reporting purposes.

Job Skill Requirements:

  • Must have 4+ years of experience using NetSuite.
  • Experience using QuickBooks (Online preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across the organization.
  • Extremely detail-oriented to create accurate and timely reports.

Job Experience Requirements:

  • Ability to commute to the office. This role is 100% onsite for client privacy and information security.
  • 5+ years of Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least three years of accounting experience in public accounting or the entertainment sector, OR five years of bookkeeping for high-net-worth individuals.
  • Four or more years of experience using NetSuite ERP.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, including Music Business.
