CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist for a reputable consulting client in the Richardson, TX area. As the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing financial transactions, maintaining vendor relations, and ensuring seamless payment processing. Qualified candidates will have their Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of full cycle accounts payable experience including experience with credit card processing and reconciliations, expense report processing, 1099s, strong Excel skills and the ability to run and analyze reports. Experience from the Architectural, Engineering, and Consulting (AEC) industry with project accounting and subcontract invoice handling is a major plus. Requirements & Responsibilities for the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CAPS certification or work towards completion is a plus.
• 5+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience is required
• Credit card processing and reconciliation and expense report processing experience is required
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to run and review reports
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables and vlookups required)
• Project accounting and subcontract invoice handling experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Consulting (AEC) industry is ideal
• Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Maintains confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information.
• Deltek software is a plus.

Compensation for the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Employment type: Direct hire
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
• Salary/Pay: $60-70K/year (+/- based on experience)
• Location: On-site in Richardson, TX for first 6 months then possibility for hybrid schedule
