Security Sales Representative
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
Base Salary: $75K-80K+ BOE + Uncapped Commission
Duration: Full-time; Permanent from day one
CornerStone Professional Placement has partnered with a leading provider of advanced security technology solutions seeking a skilled Security Sales Representative to drive new business growth across the DFW market. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who excels at relationship-building, consultative selling, and identifying client needs in the commercial security systems space.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, integrators, and strategic partners.
- Conduct consultative sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with design and technical teams to develop comprehensive security solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal to post-sale handoff.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, competitor activity, and market trends.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and contribute to company revenue targets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in the security or related technology industry.
- Proven success meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong understanding of Access Control, CCTV/Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, and Security Management Software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with brands such as Avigilon, LenelS2, Genetec, Axis, or Honeywell.
- Knowledge of IP networking and cloud-based security solutions.
- Experience selling to end users in the North Texas region.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
