CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Quality Engineer for a consumer product manufacturing client in the Addison, TX area. As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, overseeing quality processes, and supporting new product and process development. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry, 3+ years of experience in consumer products quality manufacturing, and a strong understanding of quality systems. Requirements & Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer:

·        Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.

·        3+ years of experience in a food, drug, or cosmetic manufacturing environment.

·        Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and FDA GMP regulations.

·        Certification by ASQ as a CQE or CQT is preferred.

·        Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, root cause analysis, and statistical techniques.

·        Lead and manage quality improvement initiatives, non-conformance investigations, and quality assessments.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with quality standards.

·        Provide oversight and quality direction from product development through production.

·        Support validation activities for equipment, processes, and cleaning in line with compliance requirements.

Compensation for the Quality Engineer:

·        Employment Type: Contract

·        Pay Rate: $37.77/hour (+/- based on experience)

·        Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

·        Location: 100% on site in Addison, TX 75001

·        Benefits: offered through CornerStone while on assignment
