Job Description

We are seeking a Preservation Architect, registered in the State of Texas, to handle historic preservation projects both locally, domestically and internationally.   We ae seeking a hands-on, contributer experienced in managing the full scope of a project; complex designs programs on historic projects-planning, grants, programming, design, construction documents, bidding, contract administration and  contractor oversight.    This is a client facing role, involving meetings with clients, city officials, planning committees, contractors, local commissions and boards.   We are seeking someone interested in evolving into a Director level role!  Is that you?

Requirements for the Preservation Architect:
  • Bachelor or Master in Architecture
  • Licensed Architect
  • 15 years of Architectural Project Management with a focus on Historic Preservation
  • Mid-Century Design knowledge and Historic-Age Building techniques highly desired
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and have ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Revit and AutoCad a must!
  • Ability to interact with clients, city officials, boards and local commission effectively on the status of a project, required grants, etc
