CornerStone Professional Placement has partnered with an events company based in Dallas, TX seeking an Operations Lead. This exciting direct hire opportunity performs a lead role on the team while working alongside the show site labor in addition to smaller or less complex shows. The Operations Lead must be able to work in a team environment while being an independent thinker. The Operations Lead will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, will have familiarity with safety and security measures for proper care of an operation and excellent customer service skills and have the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Adhere to safe operations practices.

Ensure that equipment and tools needed to produce the assigned show is in place and ready for use and return of equipment after the assigned show is cleared.

Advise show lead of any additional equipment needs that may arise.

Ensure that labor needs have been requested and submitted, in addition to keeping job costs to a minimum without sacrificing customer service.

Produce accurate and timely payroll forms and time cards for hours worked on assigned shows.

Participate in and lead show site safety and customer service meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Two year’s of trade show or related experience is preferred.
