CornerStone has partnered with a local mortgage banker in their search for a Mortgage Operations Manager to lead a growing operations team in the set-up, processing, underwriting, closing and post-closing of a $40M a month loan portfolio.  The Mortgage Operations Manager work closely with the Direct of Lending and Credit Risk to develop and implement new loan programs.  We are seeking someone with extensive knowledge in processing, underwriting, and closing procedures that can ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.    

Requirements of Mortgage Operations Manager:
*     Bachelor or Master Degree from accredited university or college
*     5+ years in an mortgage operations management opening
*     Proven capability to lead operations in a managing a monthly loan portfolio of 160+ loans /$40M a month and provide reporting to executive management and the board
*     Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations
*     Implement policies and procedures and streamline workflow to meet strict deadlines and requirements
*     Expert in Processing, Underwriting and Closing procedures 
*     Ability to develop, train and mentor staff
