CornerStone Professional Placement has partnered with a reputable medical device manufacturing client seeking a Mold Maintenance Specialist. As the Mold Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and quality assurance for the high cavitation, high precision plastic injection molds in a manufacturing environment. Qualified candidates will have their tool maker apprenticeship OR minimum of a 2 years' of experience as a plastic injection mold maker or mold maintenance specialist and the ability to work in a high precision environment! This is an exciting direct hire opportunity with a client that offers stability, benefits and growth on the 1st shift in an airconditioned, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility!

Requirements & Responsibilities for the Mold Maintenance Specialist:

·        2+ years' of experience as a plastic injection mold maker or mold maintenance specialist OR recent graduate with the tool maker apprenticeship

·        Experience performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting high cavitation plastic injection molds

·        Experience working in a high precision manufacturing environment

·        Knowledge "hot runner" mold systems is a plus

·        Tool room experience is a plus

·        W-2 only! No C2C, 1099, or visa sponsorship available!

Compensation for the Mold Maintenance Specialist:

Direct hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm

Pay: $27-35/hour (+/- based on experience)

Location: 100% on-site in West Frisco
