CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking an experienced Lead Building Engineer for a high rise corporate campus in downtown Dallas, TX. As the Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 3 associates for facilities maintenance, and will be responsible for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of corporate campus Building Engineer experience, proven leadership and problem solving skills, and exceptional customer service and communication skills working with tenants. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and operation of various systems within the facility while ensuring the safety and comfort of tenants.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Minimum of a HS diploma or GED
· 5+ years of Building Engineer / Building Maintenance experience working for a large, corporate campus
· 1+ years of proven leadership skills
· Experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, lighting HVAC, air handlers, pumps, energy management systems, paint, filters, coils, and other building equipment
· Proven track record promptly addressing tenant service requests with a high level of customer service and accurately documenting work order requests
· Strong knowledge of building automation, water treatment, and fire life safety systems and the ability to assist with building inspections
· Capability to frequently walk stairs, climb ladders, and lift up to 49 pounds.
Compensation:
Direct hire
Pay: $75-85K/year (+/- based on experience)
Hours: first shift Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
