Title: HR Generalist
Location: 100% Onsite in Flower Mound, TX
Schedule: M-F, 8AM to 5PM CST
Salary Range: $80K+ BOE
Duration: Full-Time | Permanent employee from day one!
Overview:
The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in supporting the organization’s workforce and ensuring smooth HR operations. This position is responsible for managing a broad range of human resource functions, including talent acquisition, payroll coordination, benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, and policy implementation. The HR Generalist serves as a trusted partner to leadership and employees, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, applicant screening, interview scheduling, compensation analysis, and pre-employment processing.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with staffing agencies to fulfill temporary staffing needs as required.
- Oversee the timekeeping process, ensuring timely submission, approval, and audit of employee timesheets.
- Manage payroll processing on a bi-weekly basis in partnership with the accounting and contracts teams, ensuring accurate reporting and timely reconciliation.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a smooth transition and proper documentation.
- Partner with department leaders to assess staffing needs, support workforce planning, and align talent strategies with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance improvement, training, and compliance with company standards.
- Lead the annual performance review cycle, compile relevant data, and support compensation review discussions.
- Maintain and monitor the compensation database, offering insights and recommendations for pay adjustments and new role development.
- Track and manage training initiatives, approvals, and records to support employee development and regulatory compliance.
- Respond to employment verification requests, unemployment claims, wage garnishment orders, and other employment-related documentation.
- Manage the distribution and compliance of technology resources allocated to employees.
- Contribute to the development, revision, and communication of company policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with best practices and legal requirements.
- Oversee benefits administration, including new hire enrollments, open enrollment, and qualifying life event changes, while serving as a liaison with benefits providers.
- Conduct benefits orientations and assist employees in understanding available programs and options.
- Partner with leadership on initiatives related to succession planning, employee retention, workforce development, and organizational change.
- Support the administration of travel reimbursement, expense management, and corporate credit card programs in coordination with accounting.
- Act as a central point of contact for internal communications, fostering transparency and engagement across the organization.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
- Provide backup support to the Office Manager as needed and assist with general office operations.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and HR systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Flexible and adaptable, capable of adjusting to changing business needs.
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in HR administration, recruiting, or related human resources functions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods.
- Occasionally required to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
- Visual abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Work Environment:
- Professional office setting.
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel Requirement:
- Minimal travel required (less than 5%), primarily local with occasional overnight or out-of-state travel.
