Job Description
CornerStone has partnered with a leading national company in their search for an Eastern Regional HR Director with a strong background in high-volume talent acquisition. This dynamic role demands an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to travel extensively to over 45 locations across the Eastern states. As the Eastern Regional HR Director, you will oversee all aspects of human resources, employee relations, and collaborate closely with the recruiting team. Your role will be pivotal in supporting and enhancing the company’s union labor relations while promoting a people-centric culture internally and externally. You will be responsible for conducting training at all organizational levels and partnering with operations, payroll, and legal teams to ensure compliance with employment regulations and the achievement of company objectives. This position emphasizes talent acquisition and retention in a high-energy environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- Must have 10+years or more of human resource management experience with experience leading a workforce of over 3,000 employees.
- Experience in working with Unions is required; union labor relations and negotiations is strongly preferred.
- Must have 7+ years in a Director level or National HR Management role
- Regulatory Knowledge: Expert knowledge of FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and other employment regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills is required. Must have the ability to engage with internal staff and client at all organizational levels.
- Ability to handle and safeguard highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to prioritize demanding work schedule and be able to pivot based on company needs
