Job Description

CornerStone Staffing is looking to hire a General Manager that will be responsible for all daily operations at a store level for an enterprise-level client in Columbia, SC. The GM will be responsible for efficiently and effectively directing and managing all store activities to enhance organization and optimization, develop and implement effective business strategies.

The candidate for this role should possess excellent verbal and written skills, strong knowledge of daily business operations, and exceptional leadership capabilities. The elected GM should account for staff development, sustain store image, optimize store efficiency, set and define employee expectations, maintain a contagious working environment, and drive sales and enhance revenue.


· Hiring and training shift leaders and staff

· Forecast and coordinate with warehouse personnel on product deliveries

· Maintaining stock and store cleaning/retail supply

· Effectively use Microsoft applications, such as (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to track daily sales and

· Assist in optimizing labor hours at store level

· Effectively troubleshoot POS systems

· Communicate with BHL and FHL to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses in both areas



· High School Diploma and College Degree

· Strong leadership qualities

· Extremely organized and time oriented

· Entrepreneurial mindset

Compensation for the Assistant General Manager

  • Direct Hire
  • 5-days/wk 8-10hr days
  • Salary: $60K/year
