Job Description
CornerStone Staffing has partnered with a major medical group to seek a detail-oriented and strategic financial analyst with a strong background in financial reporting, variance analysis, and operational consulting for a contract-to-hire, hybrid remote opening. In this role, you will collaborate with senior leadership to provide insights, develop solutions, and enhance financial strategies that support organizational goals.
Job Title: Financial Analyst - Senior Level
Location: Dallas, TX [Hybrid Remote][Parking Provided]
Schedule: M-F, 8AM to 5PM CST
Salary Range: $40/hr.+ BOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis & Management:
- Analyze financial results and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.
- Identify opportunities to enhance revenue streams and reduce costs, presenting data-driven recommendations.
- Lead financial reviews with departmental leaders to improve operational efficiency.
- Month-End Close Process:
- Manage and prepare journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial closes.
- Coordinate post-close reviews for completeness and accuracy, proposing process improvements where needed.
- Ensure financial reports uphold a high standard of accuracy and integrity.
- Report Development & Training:
- Design and revise advanced financial reporting tools for internal analysis.
- Provide customized reporting solutions for leadership teams.
- Educate staff on report functionalities and the interpretation of financial data.
- External Financial Communication:
- Prepare and deliver financial analyses for external stakeholders as needed.
- Support strategic decision-making with insights into complex financial variances.
- Recommend operational adjustments to improve financial performance.
- Data Systems & Program Development:
- Develop and refine data systems to enhance financial and operational reporting.
- Create user-friendly tools that translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and streamline reporting workflows.
- Additional Duties:
- Handle ad hoc projects with professionalism and adaptability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications.
- Demonstrated leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with creating reports and leveraging data for operational insights.
