Cornerstone Professional Placement is looking for an experienced and compassionate Facilities Manager that will oversee all building-related activities and will be preserving the good condition of company's equipment's and ensuring the overall facility is safe and working properly.


Title: Facilities Manager

Location: Mesquite, TX

Salary rate: $75,000/K year

Type: Direct Hire

  • Plan and coordinate all installations and preventative maintenance.
  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
  • Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
  • Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
  • Supervise all staff facilities staff and external vendors
  • Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
  • Allocate office space according to needs
  • Handle insurance plans and service contracts
  • Keep financial and non-financial records
  • Perform analysis and forecasting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
  • More than 5 years experience in leadership role
  • Well-versed in mechanical operations and facilities management best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills
