CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Director of Development for a Christian faith-based, educational nonprofit client in the Dallas area. As the Director of Development, you will be responsible for leading strategic fundraising initiatives, cultivating donor relationships, and overseeing development programs to ensure financial sustainability. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, a proven track record of securing major gifts, leadership experience, and be aligned with the values of the organization’s mission. Requirements & Responsibilities for the Director of Development:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 5+ years of non-profit development or major gifts fundraising experience and 2 years of team leadership experience
- Proven ability to develop and execute annual and major giving campaigns to meet fundraising goals.
- Cultivate relationships with donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations to grow financial support.
- Oversee donor management systems, gift processing, and reporting to ensure ethical fundraising practices.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and marketing teams to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
- Represent the organization at events and drive donor engagement efforts.
- All candidates must align with the mission of the organization
Compensation for the Director of Development:
- Employment Type: Direct Hire
- Schedule: Full-Time, attendance at some after-hours events required
- Salary/Pay: $90K/year (+/- based on Experience)
- Location: On-site in Dallas, TX - must have reliable transportation to commute around Dallas and the surrounding areas
- Benefits: Medical Dental fully paid for employee, Vision $7/month, Life coverage for employee and spouse, 401K w/ 5% match.
