Customer Service Specialist - Events
Location: Nashville, TN
CornerStone Professional Placement has partnered with an Events Management client seeking 2 Customer Service Specialists in Nashville, TN to assist their customers with pre-event, day of, and post-event support. As the Exhibitor Services Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring exhibitors have a successful experience by coordinating with various departments to manage exhibitor orders, helping address customer needs in a timely manner, and providing support to customers before, during and after events. This is a fantastic direct hire opportunity to make a positive impact and be part of a high-energy team! We are also hiring for the same great roles in both Nashville, TN & Chicago, IL!
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of applicable customer service experience (hospitality, event services, or restaurant industries are ideal)
- Experience providing exceptional levels of customer service in-person and phone and email
- Ability to problem solve and be agile to help ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Customer-focused mindset with exceptional communication skills
- Flexibility to work extended hours including events and weekends as needed
- Moderate travel required (25-50%). Mostly local with some overnight travel.
Compensation / Benefits / Other Details
- Direct hire
- Location: on-site and at show site
- Pay: $20-$25/hr (based on experience) Eligible for OT pay and travel reimbursement
- Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm, but must be flexible to work OT including evenings and weekends
