CornerStone Professional Placement has partnered with a well-known name in insurance to seek out a talented Client Manager to join their benefits administration team. Job Title: Client Manager

Location: 100% Onsite in Fort Worth, TX

Schedule: M-F, 8:30AM to 5PM CST

Duration: Contract-to-Hire!

Salary: $55K-$60K+/- BOE

Job Duties:

  • Build and maintain proactive communication with clients.
  • Oversee and manage a pre-existing portfolio of client accounts.
  • Address questions and concerns related to continuation benefits for employees, former employees, and dependents across multiple channels (phone, voicemail, email) with prompt responses, ideally within four business hours.
  • Collaborate with clients, insurance providers, and internal teams on various tasks, including enrollments, eligibility updates, payments, system training, open enrollment periods, and account renewals.
  • Handle high-volume data input and spreadsheet management, ensuring accuracy in processing enrollments and written communications.
  • Provide eligibility updates and reports as needed to relevant stakeholders, including account teams, clients, or carriers.
  • Assist in resolving client or participant concerns, coordinating with account teams to address eligibility and other identified issues, and ensuring accurate data and documentation upon resolution.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of continuation benefits regulations and inform clients about any updates or changes.
  • Uphold strict adherence to regulatory requirements, including COBRA and HIPAA compliance.
  • Support additional projects or responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of benefits administration experience from HR, call center, or similar backgrounds
  • Must be experienced with commercial insurances, 401Ks, medical terminology, and EOB
  • COBRA experience is a plus but not required
  • Must obtain COBRA certification (reimbursed by company) within 1 year of hire
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have good attention to detail, ability to remain in compliance with regulations and policies, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
