Job Title: Clinical Asset Specialist
Location: Pomona, CA 91767
Schedule: M-F, 8AM to 5PM
Duration: Full-Time
Salary: $65K
Job Duties:
- Oversees clinical equipment projects and initiatives for the facility.
- Provides data-driven insights for strategic decision-making and future growth.
- Contributes to initiatives aimed at reducing costs and optimizing spending.
- Improves the process for managing clinical assets.
- Analyzes trends, operational needs, and manufacturer data to support long-term capital planning.
- Prepares reports and dashboards on asset usage and financial performance for stakeholders.
- Ensures data accuracy for benchmarking, purchasing, and asset lifecycle analysis.
- Assists with budgeting for asset acquisition and identifies ways to cut CAPEX.
- Evaluates current inventory to make informed decisions on future purchasing needs.
- Leverages data analytics to guide strategic growth and cost-effective equipment management.
- Reviews and processes purchase requests, ensuring compliance with contracts.
- Handles vendor returns and ensures appropriate credits are processed.
- Monitors outstanding purchase orders and follows up as needed.
- Completes purchase requisitions and coordinates with vendors.
- Maintains a log of purchase orders and updates as needed.
- Uses asset management software to handle purchase orders from creation to closure.
- Coordinates between vendors and accounting for invoicing matters.
- Manages relationships with vendors, including onboarding and maintaining documentation.
- Assesses vendors per ISO: 9001 standards and ensures compliance.
- Works with operations on asset and inventory management.
- Performs other tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong familiarity with medical terminology and/or medical devices
- Desire to grow with a great company that is rapidly expanding across the nation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with CMMS is a big plus!
