Job Description
CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for a company handling residential due diligence in the U.S. . As the CRO, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, overseeing a team of 1-2 Sales persons, and leading the company's expansion into NPL/RPL and commercial markets. Qualified candidates will have extensive experience in due diligence the mortgage industry, strong relationships with key players, and proven ability to generate revenue. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company, build out your team and strategize on partnerships with banks, brokerages, mortgage companies to generate revenue for the company. Requirements & Responsibilities for the Chief Revenue Officer:
- Develop and execute revenue growth strategies within the first 90 days.
- Lead a small team and drive expansion into new markets (NPL/RPL and commercial).
- Must have strong relationships or networking ties to originators, aggregators, hedge fund, broker dealers, securitizers' and issuers.
- Oversee capital markets, collateral securitization, and pension oversight with knowledge of the FCC.
- Whole loan experience is highly desired.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term business goals and present findings to the board.
- Attend industry conferences 4 annually or more if desired) and leverage existing relationships to close deals.
- Periodically travel to meet clients and close deals.
- At least 10 years of experience in a sales capacity with due diligence competitors, holding proven relationships with key clients.
- Must be able to exhibit prior sales acumen in selling due diligence, QM/NQM pre and post close QC and whole loan advisory services to originator and capital market companies.
- Experience with in leadership roles in Mortgage or Capital Markets within top 10 banks or credit union, with a history of handling due diligence, loan review or QC servicing for mortgage buyers, sellers.
- Familiarity with capital markets, collateral securitization, and pension oversight, and understanding of how these elements fit together.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, such as LauraMac, Sienna, and proprietary software.

- Schedule: Full-time, Remote Work (with occasional travel for conferences and client meetings)
- Salary/Pay: $150K-$175K base salary + commissions. Will consider higher for candidates with proven prior performance
