Job Title: Bank Compliance Analyst
Location: Hybrid Remote! Equipment Provided.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Business Hours
Pay Range: $67K to $75K + Bonus Opportunities
Duration: Full-time! Be a permanent employee from day one.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control testing to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for financial services.
- Analyze transactional data and internal records to identify compliance risks and operational gaps.
- Assess policies, procedures, and internal controls for alignment with federal and state regulations.
- Document testing results in compliance with internal quality standards, using Excel for data analysis.
- Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommended corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to investigate issues and implement remediation measures.
- Monitor and track open compliance concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
- Assist with audits, regulatory reviews, and data collection for risk assessments.
- Research regulatory updates and compliance inquiries as needed.
- Participate in internal compliance discussions and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in banking, financial services compliance, or regulatory testing.
- Strong knowledge of consumer protection regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with banking compliance systems (e.g., Jack Henry, Cognos, Verafin, Actimize) preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CIA, CRCM, CFE) a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presenting findings.
