Job Description

CornerStone has partnered with a leader in the cybersecurity industry in their search for an Area Vice President to lead sales initiatives focusing on the Financial Servicing business sector; namely big banking institutions and insurance companies. We are seeking a proven sales leader to manage, coach and mentor a team of up to 11 territory sales representatives in the Northeast; namely New York, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
 Requirements of the Area Vice President of Sales-Cybersecurity:
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering, information technology or related field
  • 7-10 years of direct sales experience to executive level; preferably in cybersecurity (Web application, data security)
  • Lead a team of up to 11 Territory Sale Representatives in a tactical and strategic sales approach to financial servicing companies in the North East territory
  • Stay abreast of new products, services and technological updates that could affect this sector of business and/or improve security of the client
  • Drive new business development and renewal orders for all license and professional services
  • Manage full sales cycle, advising staff during key phases as needed
  • Salesforce experience a must
