Job Description

CornerStone’s Professional Placement Division has partnered with a local in their search for an Airline General Manager to have oversight of a team of up to 90 employees in Ramp Services, Above Wing, customer service, Ticket Services and Passenger Assistance Wheel Chair Service departments. The General Manager will schedule staff for all shifts to assist 8 carriers with all or one portion of these services for 2 gates. They handle 5 flights a day, end-to-end services, so we need a strong manager. They will be supported by 2 operations managers. They will report directly to the Direct of Operations providing any reporting, budgets, submitting payroll and advising on suggested changes in operational changes to improve efficiencies. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in the airline / aviation industry in a management capacity.

 

Requirements of the Airline General Manager:

  • Must have High School Diploma
  • 3+ years in Airline Services Management i.e. Ramp Management, Above Wing/Below Wing or Wheelchair Services for multiple carriers, ticket services
  • Strong RAMP Management required
  • Experience creating and managing a budget
  • Payroll in ADP for staff
  • Ability to hire, train, counsel, terminate and handle scheduling for all staff
  • Must have experience in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Tableau, Blue Kango a plus for reporting and scheduling purposes

 

Salary for Airline General Manager:

  • Will pay 70-90K based on experience
  • Will give a retention bonus yearly, with a 2 year commitment
