CornerStone Professional Placement has partnered with a MAJOR healthcare device company to seek out a full-time administrative assistant for their new office location in Pomona, CA! Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Pomona, CA

Travel: This role may require small amounts of travel during the day, primarily around the city (i.e. errands, pickups, etc.).

Schedule: M-F, 8AM to 5PM

Duration: Full-Time!

Pay Range: $20/hr. - $30/hr. BOE

Job Duties:

  • Handles phone calls and greets visitors as necessary.
  • Places orders for parts requested by technicians.
  • Works with the Capital Asset Specialist or Director of Clinical Services on purchasing tasks.
  • Responds to client inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Organizes paperwork related to scheduled preventive maintenance, including work orders, service histories, inspection reports, and audits.
  • Partners with technicians to compile and prepare monthly reports.
  • Coordinates service requests and manages scheduling or dispatch when needed.
  • Keeps track of office supplies and reorders when stock is low.
  • Arranges cost-effective shipping for packages.
  • Adheres to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Ensures the office is kept tidy and well-organized.
  • Takes on additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
  • Works with other departments to fulfill responsibilities and collaborate on tasks.
  • Keeps open communication lines within the department and throughout the company.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in office administration
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Microsoft Office experience is required, Google Suite experience is a plus!
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to problem solve, collaborate, and promote strong client relations through professional and prompt customer service
  • Medical terminology experience is a big plus!
