CornerStone Professional Placement is hiring a Remote Accounting Manager for a well-established organization. You’ll handle cash accounting, reconciliations, and variance analysis while partnering with cross-functional teams to streamline operations.
What You’ll Do
- Own daily cash and bank reconciliations
- Analyze variances and dig into discrepancies
- Post journal entries and maintain key account schedules
- Partner with Treasury to resolve issues and improve processes
- Support internal/external audits
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent)
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- GAAP knowledge & strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Detail-oriented and solution-driven
Bonus Points
- CPA or progress toward one
- SAP/JDE experience
- Process improvement mindset
The Details
- Type: Contract (4-months with possible extension)
- Schedule: Full-time, Mon–Fri (EST working hours preferred)
- Location: 100% Remote (must live in TX, AZ, NC, SC, FL, GA, TN, KY, or IN)
- Pay: $40-55/hr, DOE
