A&P Mechanic
Job Description
Location: Dallas, TX.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:30AM - 4PM
Compensation: $30 - $40 per hour

Key Responsibilities as an A&P Mechanic:
- Perform comprehensive inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance on aircraft engines, systems, and components.
- Diagnose mechanical, structural, electrical, and hydraulic issues, providing expert solutions for effective repairs.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal aircraft performance.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled mechanics, technicians, and engineers on complex repairs and diagnostics.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and technical manuals for efficient problem-solving.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Stay current with industry advancements and take part in professional development activities.
- Foster a strong safety culture, adhering to established protocols and promoting awareness.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory management as needed.
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited aviation maintenance technician program.
- Valid Aircraft Mechanic License.
- 3+ years of experience as an aviation technician (military or civilian).
- Proven expertise in aircraft maintenance, including familiarity with avionics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and powerplant systems.
- Skilled in following technical manuals and procedures, with experience using electronic maintenance tracking systems.
- Essential Competencies:
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Critical thinking, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Applications.
- Positive attitude with a passion for aviation.
- Willingness to travel for business and flexible availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
- Capable of working in an aircraft hangar environment, which may vary in temperature and noise levels.
