PTC Release and Deployment Analyst - Fort Worth, TX
CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS) is seeking a Release and Deployment Analyst to join a dynamic team in Fort Worth, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who excels in managing change processes within complex technical environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITIL, hands-on experience with change management tools like BMC Remedy, and a proven ability to monitor, track, and analyze change requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for PTC systems and related software.
- Coordinate, plan, and oversee system releases, ensuring all release controls and deployment processes are followed.
- Troubleshoot system issues by analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions.
- Develop and implement processes to prevent incidents and minimize the impact of unavoidable issues.
- Manage and release pre-planned communications to stakeholders for upcoming changes or releases.
- Validate release packages, ensuring all required steps are satisfied and deployments are properly executed, with documented backout plans in place.
- Monitor system stability post-deployment and address any unforeseen issues promptly.
- Perform root cause analysis for escalated incidents to prevent future occurrences.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal teams, business partners, and vendors to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel with pivot tables, graphs, and formulas, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Remedy, Notepad++, PuTTY, and SharePoint site management.
- Familiarity with PTC systems and tools like NMS Client, TMDS ViewClient is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of release methodologies and familiarity with ITIL Release and Deployment Management processes.
- Proven troubleshooting skills for computer systems, including the ability to analyze logs and identify problems.
- Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources to determine root issues.
- Clear and effective communication of technical issues, known errors, and workarounds to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
- Reliable, prompt, and able to handle shifting priorities with minimal supervision.
- Open communication with peers, team members, and management, including timely escalation of risks or issues when necessary.
