CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team of innovators and problem solvers. You'll work with a collaborative team in a hybrid environment and leverage advanced tools to support critical business operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and analyze massive datasets involving millions of interconnected records, spanning sales, insurance, service operations, and more.
- Use SQL and Python to query, manipulate, and organize data for efficient analysis.
- Create impactful visualizations using Tableau or other leading data visualization tools to tell compelling stories.
- Collaborate across teams to uncover business questions and deliver data-driven solutions that inform strategic actions.
- Recommend actionable insights by developing presentations and dashboards, leveraging tools like Tableau, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in data through advanced data cleaning and validation techniques.
- Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making at all levels.
- Support ongoing adaptability in a dynamic role that encourages continuous learning and flexibility.
What You Bring:
We are seeking candidates who exhibit a rare combination of technical expertise, analytical acumen, and creativity in presenting data.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Finance, Math, Engineering, Analytics, etc.).
- 3+ years of professional experience managing and analyzing large datasets (millions in volume).
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data acquisition, cleaning, and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau or other visualization tools to create compelling dashboards.
- Strong analytical skills and a quantitative mindset with a knack for turning data into narratives.
- Excellent communication and consulting skills, capable of presenting insights to diverse audiences.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and actionable results.
Bonus Skills:
- Advanced degree (MBA or quantitative STEM field).
- Background in auto financing, consumer lending, or financial institutions.
- Experience with consumer credit risk, business analytics, or financial pricing.
- Proficiency in predictive modeling or advanced statistical techniques.
